HERB TEAS
Herb teas offer a real alternative to brown brews and flavoured fruit teas. The sheer inexhaustible range of flavours and actions of herbs, seeds, roots, barks and flowers open up a whole new dimension of experimentation. Whether employed for their therapeutic effects on mind and body or simply for pure pleasure - herbs infinitely enrich and expand the horizons of possibilities.

USE:
Star Child Herb teas are carefully composed blends of various herbs, flowers, seeds and barks, designed for use as teas. We leave most ingredients whole to better preserve their quality and freshness. Crush or grind the herbs prior to use. Smaller particles infuse more easily. Make sure that all ingredients are well mixed. Heavier or finer ground parts often sink to the bottom of the packet - mix these well with the lighter parts to ensure a more balanced taste and effect. For a standard infusion use 1 teaspoon of dried, ground herbs per cup of boiling water. Cover and steep for approximately 5 minutes. Strain, sweeten with honey if required and enjoy.

CAUTION
All herbs should be treated with respect. During pregnancy it is especially important to seek the advice of a qualified practitioner with regard to using herbs. Likewise, if suffering from certain medical conditions or whilst using prescription drugs it is always recommended to ensure the herbs you are intending to use will not interfere with any treatments and are not counter indicated for the particular condition.
