SPACE AROMAS:
There is nothing like the power of scent to lend wings to the imagination, to invoke dreams and distant memories, or to help the soul journey to other spheres and dimensions. The ancients have long known about this fragrant magic have used it accordingly in all their magical and spiritual work. Scent centres the mind and purifies the spirit; it opens the gates of perception and lifts us beyond the boundaries of the material world. Star Child Space Aromas are rooted in this age old tradition. Composed of carefully selected essential oils, these blends are created to provide a fragrant bridge to the ethereal realms of gods and spirits. Similar to incense, they diffuse a rich aroma if burnt in an oil burner. However, because they are highly concentrated essential oil blends rather than dry herbs and resins, they can also be adapted to many other uses.

Star Child Space Aromas contain only pure essential oils and absolutes that have been potentized with our unique magical herbal infusions. Each aroma is designed with a specific purpose, astrological energy or deity in mind, though the versatility of their application is only limited by your imagination.

USES:

VAPOURISER:
Star Child Space Aromas are ideally suited for use with an oil burner or vaporizer. Diffuse their magical fragrances as an aromatic aid for meditation and healing practices, ceremonial or ritual purposes, or simply to create a special ambiance with these beautiful aromas. Fill the water-well with warm water and add a few drops of your chosen Space Aroma. Light the candle underneath. Relax and enjoy the scent filling the air. Keep an eye on the water well and top it up before it dries out completely. Make sure the candle is extinguished before you leave the room.

ASPERSION:
Traditionally the practice of aspersion is used to cleanse, purify or consecrate a space, in preparation of magical work taking place. A carefully selected bunch of herbs is dipped into the consecrated water, and sprinkled throughout the ceremonial space as an offering to the four directions, to protect the practitioner against evil influences and to invite all good spirits to attend the ceremony. To enhance the cleansing water, add some drops of your chosen Space Aroma. Agitate the water to disperse the oil.

SPIRITUAL CLEANSING:
Energies can be very clingy and instead of flowing freely, clog up the spiritual pathways. Spiritual cleansing and purification rituals are needed to unblock and get rid of unwanted energies, whether it’s a bad vibe that is polluting the atmosphere or stagnant emotions that we can’t let go and thus prevent us from moving on. Space Aromas can be added to the cleansing water used in such purification rituals. Naturally, they also lend themselves to simple house cleaning and can be used for this purpose in the same way.

ANOINTMENT:
Anointing oils are used to prepare the practitioner for ritual work. The scented oil acts as a layer of protection, purifies the heart and focuses the mind on the task in hand. To create a scented anointing oil dilute about 5 drops of any Star Child Space Aroma in 1 tablespoon of nut/seed carrier oil or ‘Space Base oil’. Space Aromas can also be used to anoint and dedicate candles in candle burning rituals. For this purpose they can be applied undiluted.

MASSAGE & BATH OILS
Create your own magical massage and bath oils by adding any Star Child Space Aroma to a base oil blend. Use a dilution of no more than 3% of Space Aroma in an oil base. Oils indicated with *** should not be used in this way as they may irritate sensitive skin.

PERFUMES:
Magical perfumes transmit subtle message beyond the level of words. They are, in a way, scented invocations. Sweet fragrances are the delight of Gods and spirits who respond with benevolence. Magical perfumes dispel negative energies and attract good spirits. Create your own magical perfumes by diluting any of our Space Aromas at a ratio of no more than 3% in a carrier base oil such as almond or apricot.

CAUTION

**Never use Space Aromas internally.
**Do not apply neat to the skin.
**The recommended standard dilution is 1-3% for use in massage, bath or perfume oil blends.
**Test on a small area of skin on the inner arm first before using any oil more liberally as a bath, massage or perfume oil.
**Keep all oils out of the reach of children and pets.
**Never allow Space Aromas to enter the eyes.
**If you are pregnant or are suffering from any serious medical conditions we do not recommend you using any of our space aroma blends as massage, bath or perfume oils.

CARE FOR YOUR SPACE AROMAS
Space Aromas consist of carefully chosen essential oil blends. As such they behave just like essential oils: they will evaporate and ‘fly off’ if stored incorrectly. Always keep the lid on tightly and store in a cool, dark place.
